Please help me find my African Grey parrot. He flew out the door on 8/4. I live in Deer Park near Robert Frost Middle School.
Pauly, was last seen on the morning of 8/5. He flew into my yard 4 years ago and after not being able to find his owner I decided to take care of him. He is
gray with a maroon tail. Some of the things he says are good girl,
yo, nite nite, pauly, larry, ralph, and get out of here. He also whistles a lot and makes a clicking noise frequently. He likes to dance when you sing to him and he is afraid of loud noises. February 6, 2008 - Moustached
Parrot

Bandit was startled and flew from my
son a little more than a year ago.
On November 23, 2006. I didn't know
about this site but in the hopes
that he was found and is okay. I
wanted to post this. We put flyers
up within an hour everywhere with a
photo of Bandit but never received a
response. I have photos of him
everywhere in case anyone did find
him and gave him a new home. We
spotted him later in the day in a
very tall tree and he answered when
I called him but when he tried to
come down the tree the branch sprung
back and he flew away. That was the
last time I saw him. I just hope if
someone has him he is loved and
taken care of. He used to talk and
laugh and copy the phone ringing. It
took us
all along time to recover from our
loss. Any info. would be
appreciated. Thanks.

We hope this helps by providing a place
to list lost birds. Whatever you do,
don't give up without a fight. Make
sure you put up posters, contact local
vets, pet stores and clubs. Check the
newspaper. Many papers will list lost
pet ads for free. Please try to prevent
this page from getting any larger by
clipping your parrots wings, and being
careful around open doors and windows.

My Timneh Grey parrot flew out on the night of December 16th in
the Union Square area via south bound.
He is 13 months old and is currently molting, wings clipped with
flight feathers coming in, charcoal grey with maroon colored
tail. He or she is not banded.
Paco responds well to a very energetic wolf whistle. Greys that
fly away can fly hundreds of miles so it is not unlikely to be
far from Manhattan. Please respond with any information

Umbrella Cockatoo:
(STOLEN)
Susan Hecker pixieteacher@hotmail.com
October 22, 2006 an Umbrella Cockatoo was stolen from Petland on
Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island. He's in full feather and is a
very sweet and good-natured fellow. He was born in June 2005.
The band number is FX1386.
Tips leading to his whereabouts would be great. If the person
who stole him is afraid to come forward (grand larceny report
was filed), I'd be more than happy to anonymously pick up the
bird and return it to the manager (a friend of mine). I can be
contacted at this e-mail.
Thank you for any help that you could give me and the
heartbroken staff at Petland.
